Nineteen modular components for assembling new manifold assemblies or replacing individual parts in existing twin-cylinder manifolds — left and right valve parts, middle sections (with and without isolation valve), closures, and SM (single manifold) valves across 232 bar and 300 bar pressure ratings and multiple connection formats (ISOL, screw SA, screw LI, conical). Allows precise part-level replacement rather than full manifold replacement.
Modular Manifold Parts and Sidemount Valves
A complete manifold assembly consists of three components: a left part (valve body for the left cylinder), a right part (valve body for the right cylinder), and a middle part (the centre bridge, with or without the isolation valve). All three can be sourced and replaced independently. This allows targeted repair — if a single valve knob seizes, a single o-ring seat is damaged, or one side of a manifold is lost or corroded, only the affected component needs to be replaced.
Component Types
Left and right parts are the valve bodies that thread directly into the cylinder neck. They carry the spindle and knob that the diver operates during valve shutdown drills. The 232 bar variants (741300/302, 742226/7, 742233/4) and 300 bar variants (743301/2, 743400/1) are not interchangeable — pressure rating is explicit in the product name. Screw LI format variants (742224/5, 742226/7) use the left-integrated bridge connection format and must be matched to a compatible middle part.
Middle parts are the bridge sections connecting left and right valve bodies. The Middle part with valve (741301/1-3, 95 €) and Middle part with valve manifold screw SA (742235/6/9/0, 95 €) include the integrated isolation valve spindle — these are the ISOL bridge sections. The Middle part NO ISOL (743402/3/4/5, 54 €) is a bridge without isolation, for configurations using a screw-format manifold. The Middle part screw LI (742228/9, 99 €) is the bridge component for screw LI format assemblies.
Closures (14 €) are blanking plugs for the unused port on a single-cylinder valve that has been configured with a manifold left or right part but is being used as a standalone cylinder rather than in a double set. They seal the manifold port with an o-ring seal.
SM (single manifold) valves in this range are the left/right modular valve parts used in sidemount configurations — each sidemount cylinder carries its own independent valve, and the SM valve parts in this range provide the correct geometry for sidemount rigging and regulator attachment.
What to Look For
- Identify the format before ordering: ISOL, screw SA, screw LI, and conical thread are not cross-compatible. Determine the format of your existing manifold before ordering a replacement part. The product names include the format designation.
- Left vs. right: Parts are handed. A replacement for a left valve part must be ordered as a left part. Check the SKU suffix — typically the lower number is left and the higher number is right (e.g. 741300 = left, 741302 = right).
- 232 bar vs. 300 bar: Internal components differ between pressure ratings. Replacing a 232 bar left part with a 300 bar left part in an otherwise 232 bar manifold creates a mixed-rating assembly — not recommended. Replace like-for-like.
FAQ
How do I determine which middle part I need?
First, determine whether your manifold has an isolation valve (ISOL format) — if yes, you need a middle part with valve (741301 series for ISOL, 742235 series for screw SA with isolation). If the manifold has no isolation valve, you need the middle part NO ISOL (743402 series) or screw LI middle (742228/9). Then confirm the pressure rating (232 or 300 bar) and the left/right part format to ensure the middle part bridges are compatible.
What is a conical thread valve part used for?
Conical thread valve parts (740201/2, 59 €) use a tapered thread for the cylinder neck connection rather than the standard parallel thread. Conical threads are used on some older or specific cylinder specifications. If you have cylinders with conical neck threads, you must use conical-thread valve parts — parallel-thread parts will not seal correctly on a conical thread neck. Confirm your cylinder neck thread type before ordering.
